The RNS H.W.A. Linecar Bequest

The bequest of £5,000 received from Mr Howard Linecar in 1987 is used by the Society each year to subsidise three or four places for young persons at a Congress or Conference of the British Association of Numismatic Societies (BANS), and to pay the expenses of an annual Linecar Memorial Lecturer at one of them.
